I went for a set of MTEC discs and mintex pads - MTEC are well respected company -
made in Northern Ireland. The discs are drilled and gooved which aids cooling and
wet weather performance. They were 95.00 inc delivery for front discs and pads off ebay.

Just ordered front discs drilled & grooved with pads £104.99 all in including delivery
should receive by monday the latest 0845 0951700 very friendly MTEC discs and pads for front.

Just a update on the brakes, the mtec ones i brought, since fitted are a pure 100% upgrade compared to the original standard disc's, the mtec not only bite better but are more responsive as ive done now about 100miles since fitting them they are defo a good, cheap but effective upgrade from standard disc's well worth the money.

I've got the MTEC drilled and grooved discs front and rear with Mintex pads.
The only extra i did was change the brake fluid too for peace of mind and the brakings
so much better now than when standard.

308 fronts and standard rears (think 256) was £156 delivered.
They are the mtec ones on eBay, and they are great discs made to a high standard.
You can have drilled only, grooved only or drilled and grooved.
